Contra Costa Together aims to create a place where all people belong and thrive. We are united in our collective power to respond to the present and reimagine the future.
Building on the momentum of last year’s gathering—and the shared work that has unfolded since—the Contra Costa Together network has continued to gather to listen, plan, and act. This includes the start of a regional community health assessment centered on the Vital Conditions, a community-led grants process, the launch of a prenatal-to-early childhood initiative, and the relational work needed to keep leaning in together.
The Contra Costa Together 2026 Summit will gather community-based organizations, residents, and systems to strengthen relationships and our collective ability to engage, collaborate, and take action to advance the Vital Conditions that allow ALL people and communities to flourish.
This is not a traditional conference. It is a space to connect, learn, and reimagine what’s possible together by bridging across communities and systems, humanizing our spaces through dialogue, and centering community wisdom and local leadership.
During this event, we will work toward:
- Building new relationships and exploring opportunities to bridge and connect across residents, community-based organizations, and systems partners
- Exploring what belonging, civic engagement, and principled leadership look like in practice through stories and experiences from across Contra Costa County
- Discovering how shared learning and co-designing across community and system partners can shape solutions through topic-based, participant-led conversations
- Connecting across sectors to surface opportunities for shared action and help shape what comes next for Contra Costa Together
