CONTRA COSTA TOGETHER

Contra Costa has a long history of collaboration to expand access to essential resources, and many in our communities continue to face systemic harm and disinvestment. The Contra Costa Together Kick-Off Summit seeks to unite people through shared values, fostering connection and healing to build a more inclusive future.

Contra Costa Together...

Contra Costa Together is an emerging effort grown out of California’s Accountable Communities for Health Initiative (CACHI). This grant brought together a diverse collection of community-based organizations, resident leaders, and county systems to form the Contra Costa ACH Stewardship Team. Instead of crafting another short-term project or forming one more coalition, the stewardship team chose to dive deeper by improving how we work together and encourage others to join in reimagining and co-creating a better future for ALL.

“Throughout our country, our most vulnerable communities are feeling threatened by the systems meant to protect their well-being, and increasingly isolated from the people around them. We have a powerful opportunity to come together and identify meaningful ways to be in conversation and support one another in this particular moment, while simultaneously strengthening the vital conditions necessary for long-term health, well-being and resilience. How we each respond today will lay the foundation for a thriving future for all of us.”

Now is the time to come together to bridge, heal, and build a better future!
