SUMMARY:Contra Costa Together Summit 2026
DESCRIPTION:Building on the momentum of last year’s gathering—and the shared work that has unfolded since—the Contra Costa Together network has continued to gather to listen\, plan\, and act. This includes the start of a regional community health assessment centered on the Vital Conditions\, a community-led grants process\, the launch of a prenatal-to-early childhood initiative\, and the relational work needed to keep leaning in together. \nThe Contra Costa Together 2026 Summit will bring community-based organizations\, residents\, and systems together to strengthen relationships and our collective ability to engage\, collaborate\, and take action to advance the Vital Conditions that allow all people and communities to flourish. \nThis is not a traditional conference. It is a space to connect\, learn\, and reimagine what’s possible together by bridging across communities and systems\, humanizing our spaces through dialogue\, and centering community wisdom and local leadership. \nRegister here!

SUMMARY:RYSE Listening Campaign 2.0 Share Out
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, April 15th from 9:30 am-1 pm \nOnsite at RYSE – 3939 Bissell Ave in Richmond \nBreakfast and lunch provided \nREGISTER HERE \nThe Listening Campaign 2.0 is part of RYSE’s legacy of listening\, learning\, and leading. Our How Many Times We Gotta Say It youth interns launched the campaign in 2024\, engaging almost 200 young people in their experiences and the impacts of neglect\, coping\, and caring for themselves\, each other\, their families\, and communities \nThe How Many Times Internship and LC 2.0 were born from young people telling us they are tired of being continually surveyed about what they need and how they feel\, with little to no return in addressing\, investing in\, and meeting their priorities\, needs\, or interests. \nAt the same time\, they continue to share\, show up\, hope and care for each other and their communities.  They have engaged their peers in order to engage the adults and systems responsible for them\, with hope and expectation that we can and will show up\, with the presence\, attention\, and care that young people deserve. \nYou can hear directly from the interns right now by clicking this link to their 1st podcast at RYSE Presents: How Many Times We Gotta Say It? Podcast Episode 1: Neglect \nAt this gathering\, we will share and invite reflection and collective meaning-making\, possibilities\, and necessities on the findings and recommendations of the LC 2.0.  You will also be the first to see the 2nd podcast currently under production and focused on coping. \nWe hope you can make it!  Feel free to share with others at your organization!  We will also be planning future convenings\, and if you find it helpful will be more than happy to share with your organization/program/department. \nDon’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. And you can find the full report of RYSE’s Listening Campaign 1.0 HERE. \nREGISTER HERE.
